About Town Center Construction

Formerly the Commercial Division of Whitlatch & Co., Town Center Construction has over twenty years General Contracting Experience plus over eight years Construction Management experience. In June of 2000, the Commercial Division formed the entity Town Center Construction, LLC and since then has created for itself a strong clientele, gained a talented support staff and opened the door for a long and successful company life.

Town Center Construction (TCC) is a medium sized Construction Manager/General Contractor located in Twinsburg.
TCC specializes restaurant general contracting as well as in commercial projects ranging up to $6,000,000. Our portfolio of projects include Restaurants, Private/Public, Banks, Recreational, Transportation, Pre-Engineered, Schools, Family Community Center, Medical Facilities, Industrial, Retail, Office, & Warehouse Buildings.

TCC offers complete project management from conceptual estimates through project completion. We have been able to handle a diverse portfolio due to the qualifications of our staff. All Project Managers and Superintendents have degrees in Construction Management/Engineering. All office and field personnel utilize computers, the internet and the latest construction software.

Software:

Construction Management: TCC utilizes Primavera Expedition for Project Management on all projects. Expedition is one of the top rated CM software programs available. This software allows us to efficiently perform and organize all required project documentation in detail.

Estimating: TCC utilizes Timberline Estimating for all estimating functions. Timberline is also one of the top rated programs currently available. TCC is able to provide a broad range of estimate reports from single summary to full detail in a matter of seconds.

Scheduling: TCC utilizes Primavera SureTrak for creating and maintaining accurate and detailed project schedules.

On-Line Project Collaboration:

With Expedition 10.0's collaborative platform, you can immediately respond to questions, issues, changes and daily events. Project Team Members have instant and easy access to the latest, most accurate project information including drawings, meeting minutes, invoices, RFI's, and changes. Our clients are able to use the Internet to view all documents, contracts, invoices, and correspondence on their projects. With this system, we are able to run our projects in real time.

Computerization:

All of our project superintendents have computers on-site and are efficient in all programs required for the project.

Miscellaneous:

Bureau of Worker's Compensation Safety Rating: TCC maintains the best rating achievable of 1.0. Drug Free Workplace Program: TCC is enrolled and has a complete program in place.

Construction Management Association

Town Center Construction is an active member of Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). Several Town Center Construction employees are currently working toward individual certification with CMAA.

Green Building Coalition

Town Center Construction is a member of the Greater Cleveland Green Building Coalition. We have performed projects using green building methods such as material recycling, geothermal mechanical systems and utilizing a wide range of green materials. Town Center believes that green building practices are important to the future of our environment and we are committed to applying green practices whenever possible.
